* refactor(dom-css): share the generated component's markup and bindings
The component model now holds the element tree every framework writes: each layer's behaviour part, design tag, state class, and attributes, and the root's typed bindings (the two-way value, disabled, and each variant prop as a data attribute). The Vue generator only maps parts to Reka components and writes each binding its way, so another framework is a mapping table and a printer.
* feat(emit): print TSX modules with namespaced tags and spreads
jsx.printModule prints an es template filled with JSX as one TSX module, quoting every string the same way. Dotted tags such as Switch.Root print as JSX member expressions, and jsx.spread passes an object on as attributes. fill now fills holes inside the annotation it keeps on a filled identifier, which left $Props unfilled in a parameter's type.
* feat(storybook): generate Radix UI components for React stories
With --framework react, a component set whose behaviour is a Button, Switch, Checkbox, Toggle, or Collapsible exports as a component on the radix-ui package with its state styles in a CSS module. Its props extend the Radix root's, so checked, defaultChecked, onCheckedChange, and disabled come from Radix, and each other variant property is a prop set as a data attribute. Its stories use Radix's uncontrolled value so a play function can operate it. The browser spec now runs the same Switch and Collapsible checks for Vue and React.
* refactor(storybook): let generators say how stories import their component
The stories printer named each framework to know its Storybook package, how to import the component, and which prop sets its value. A generator now returns its files with the import path, whether the export is named, and the value's arg, and the Storybook packages come from the one table static stories use, so the printer is framework-neutral and exportStorybook looks generators up instead of branching.
* fix(storybook): keep a caller's class on React roots and run stories' play functions
The generated class came after the spread props, so a className passed to a generated React component was dropped. The root now joins its classes with the caller's. The browser spec mounts each framework's Default story and runs its exported play function with Storybook's own within and userEvent, checking the switch ends up on, and checks a caller's class stays on the root. emit shares one isNode guard.
* feat(emit): print Vue templates and single-file components
Generated Vue components need a template printer alongside the TypeScript and JSX ones. vue builds elements, text, static and bound attributes, and v-model, and prints a single-file component with script setup, template, and scoped style. Text escapes &, <, and { and attribute values escape & and ", which Vue decodes only after it parses interpolations and attributes; tests render printed templates with Vue's own compiler and server renderer. objectType takes optional members for defineProps.
* feat(storybook): generate Reka UI components for Vue stories
A component set whose behaviour is a Button, Switch, Checkbox, Toggle, or Collapsible now exports with --framework vue as a single-file component on Reka UI: its parts become Reka components, its variants become a scoped stylesheet from its state styles, its value a defineModel, and every other variant property a prop set as a data attribute. Its stories render the component, with a play function that clicks the control and checks its state. The native button reset moves to dom-css so preview and generated components share it.
* test: run generated Vue components in a browser
Exports a Switch and a Collapsible to Vue stories, serves each generated component with Vite and Vue's plugin, and checks in Chromium that clicking flips Reka's state, the state styles move the thumb and change the fill, a disabled switch ignores clicks, and a collapsible shows its content when opened.
* refactor(emit): escape Vue templates with entities
Text and attribute values are escaped as HTML by entities' escapeText and escapeAttribute, which follow the HTML spec, instead of hand-written tables. Text still writes { as an entity, since Vue reads {{ as an interpolation before it decodes entities.
* fix(emit): keep Vue text adjacent and raw blocks closed where they end
An element with text content printed each child on its own line, which Vue renders as a space between text and an element. It now prints its children inline. A closing tag inside a script string or a style value, which can come from an imported design, ended the block early; it is written <\/, which JavaScript strings and CSS read back as </.
* feat(storybook): give components with behaviours their own story controls
A Switch exported to Storybook showed a State select with On and Off. A variant property drawn by a behaviour's boolean value now becomes a boolean control named as Reka and Radix name the prop (checked, pressed, open, disabled), the interaction-state property leaves the controls, and each state stays a story. behaviourArgs in dom-css reads these props, so generated components can take the same API later.
* fix(dom-css): import behaviour args by module so packed builds resolve it
The #dom-css/* import maps to dist files when packed, which have no directory index, so #dom-css/behaviours failed to load in a consumer install.
Eleven translated pages changed in English since the last release without
matching updates: system requirements, the Lint tab, AI chat diff tools,
collaboration with agents, design JSX imports and export fidelity,
Storybook and live-app export, lint fixes, page navigation, and Checking
Designs. Bring de, es, fr, it, pl, and ru up to date, add the sections
the abridged translations lacked where a change landed, use each
language's UI labels, and point the export page at documents list.
* fix(app): record MCP and CLI structural edits as undo steps
The automation bridge ran non-atomic tools, render, and eval without an
undo entry, so Edit > Undo could not revert layers an MCP client or the
CLI created, deleted, or rearranged. Snapshot the page around these
edits as the AI chat does, and skip the entry when nothing changed so
read-only scripts leave the history alone.
* feat(app): activate documents, undo, redo, and change settings over automation
Add activate_document, undo, redo, get_settings, and update_settings to
the app's automation bridge. Settings cover appearance, snapping, canvas
rendering, recovery, and chat preferences, validated with Valibot and
applied through their owning stores; credentials, models, MCP
connections, storage, and tool access stay out of reach.
* feat(mcp): expose document activation, history, and settings tools
* feat(cli): manage documents, history, settings, and tools in the running app
Turn documents into a command group (list, open, new, save, close,
activate), add undo, redo, and settings get/set, and add tool
list/describe/call so every MCP tool runs from the shell, against the
running app or headlessly on a file.
* docs: document app control from the CLI and MCP
* fix: never prompt in the app from automation closes and saves
close_file opened the app's Save changes dialog, which an agent cannot
answer: the call timed out and the dialog stayed open. It now fails on
unsaved changes unless the caller passes unsaved "save" or "discard"
(CLI --save or --discard). save_file and new_document no longer open a
Save dialog for a document that was never saved, report a failed save
as an error, and leave the document untouched when the path is refused.
* docs: describe non-interactive close and save
* fix: address review findings in app automation
Keep a document's source when a save to a new path fails, report
vector-edit undo and redo no-ops as unapplied, echo only the applied
patch from update_settings so writing cannot read settings, reject
tool call --write/--output without a file, and stop settings get from
following inherited keys.
* fix(app): record render undo on the page that receives the layers
A render into a parent on another page was snapshotted against the
target page, so undo left the new layers in place. Snapshot the page
that contains the parent instead, and document that eval edits made
after switching pages stay outside the undo step.
* feat(app): limit automation undo to its own steps and expose design check settings
The undo history is shared with the person in the editor, so an agent's
undo could revert the user's last edit. Automation undo and redo now act
only on steps made through the bridge, and only while they are newest;
otherwise they fail and leave the history alone. Vector edit mode's
session history is off limits entirely. Settings automation also covers
the design check preferences that landed on master.
instance.detachInstance() turns an instance into a frame that keeps its content, as in Figma, from scripts run through eval. It reuses the graph's shared detach implementation, asserts editability like the proxy's other mutations, and joins the instance surface check against @figma/plugin-typings.
* fix: use official Homebrew cask installation guidance
* docs: guide localized pages through the old Homebrew tap
The translated getting-started pages documented the official cask but not
the migration from the archived tap, so readers of those pages had no
uninstall step for the old formula.
